Biography
Dr. VP Singh is a renowned Neurosurgeon with more than 37 years of experience. He is currently the Chairman of Institute of Neurosciences at Medanta-Medicity, Gurugram. He has received Prize for best student in Anatomy, MBBS; second Designation in Delhi University.
He has successfully operated over 400 intracranial aneurysm cases. He is credited with starting Gama Knife Unit and epilepsy surgery program at AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Singh has published more than 70 scientific papers and chapters in books. He has been invited as speaker at several national and international conferences.
He is a member of Journal of Paediatric Neurosurgery, Neurological Society of India, Secretary of Indian Society of Cerebrovascular Surgery, President of Indian Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery and Executive Committee of Indian Society of Paediatric Neurosurgery. Dr. Singh was also associated with Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, VIMHANS, New Delhi, Newcastle General Hospital, Tyne, UK, and St Stephens Hospital, New Delhi.
