Biography

Dr.Ravi Sauhta received his M.S. in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Nagpur and then went on to complete his residency and houseman ship at the M.G. Institute of Medical Sciences and Kasturba Hospitals, Wardha in Central India in 1991. He also earned his M.Ch. (orthopaedics) from the University of Seychelles-American Institute of Medicine.

Dr. Sauhta began his career as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Nagpur's M.G. Institute of Medical Sciences (1991-1995). Then he went into full-time private practise as a visiting consultant to various Gurgaon-based hospitals, and he has over 30 years of working experience in the field of orthopaedic surgery.

He was a Visiting Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Joint Reconstruction Surgery at S.A.I.M.S Medical College and Hospitals, as well as a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon (2009 -2012).

He was one of the first few professionals in the history of Delhi NCR to introduce various modern and minimally invasive techniques in the fields of Trauma and Reconstructive surgery, Spine surgery including deformity correction, Pelvi-Acetabular Surgery, Reconstruction of Facial Skeletal Complex Fracture, Limb salvage in large bone tumours and reconstruction by mega-prothesis, way back in 1995, when the facilities were very primitive and no major Hospitals were on the horizon.

He did fellowship training as an AO Foreign Fellow in St. Paul Regions Hospital in U.S.A. with Professor Peter Cole in Pelvic & Acetabulum Reconstruction & Adult Revision Joint Replacements and was at various centres in South Korea for the same.
