Biography

Dr. Rahul Chandola is an internationally known cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon who specialises in adult CTVS as well as heart and lung transplant procedures. He has almost two decades of expertise in cardiac surgery and has worked with various notable institutions across the nation, including Global Hospital, Fortis Escorts, Apollo, and CARE Hospitals.

He is an excellent heart and lung transplant surgeon who has done over 100 heart transplant surgery on both adult and paediatric patients with favourable outcomes.

Dr. Rahul Chandola is one of India's few cardiac surgeons with expertise in lung transplant surgery, having conducted both live donor and cadaveric donor lung transplants. He also specialises in double lung transplants, off-pump single transplants, EVLP, and bilateral lung transplants via midline sternotomies.

Dr. Chandola gained his knowledge and experience via training at prominent cardiac facilities in India, Germany, and Canada.

In addition to his practise, he has served as a faculty member and lecturer, and he has educated new surgeons in a variety of cardiothoracic and vascular operations.

Dr. Rahul Chandola has extensive experience in CTVS and heart and lung transplants and has been invited to several national and international medical conferences and meetings.
