Dr. (Prof.) V S Mehta is a well-known neurosurgeon in India and is regarded as one of the best in the world.He has nearly four decades of expertise in the area and specialises in Brachial Plexus surgery, brain stem surgery, spinal tumour surgery, brain aneurysms, and brain tumour surgery.
He was awarded the Padma Shri for his devotion and achievements to neurosurgery and spine surgery. Dr. Mehta, who is currently affiliated with Paras Hospital, Gurgaon, was instrumental in establishing the Neurosciences department and has served as its chairman from its inception.
Dr. V S Mehta was part of the team that was the first in India to adopt Image-Guided Brain Tumour Navigation Technology for brain tumour surgery.
He has worked at other famous institutions, where he conducted some of the most advanced and demanding neurosurgeries.
Dr. Mehta has been important in developing novel neurosurgical procedures and is committed to giving 100% correct results with minimal consequences.
His principal area of interest is Brachial Plexus surgery, which he considers to be among the greatest in the field. He has had good success in all of his neurosurgical treatments, his specialty being brain stem tumour and aneurysm surgery.
