Dr. Praveer Agarwal, a nationally acclaimed cardiologist who has made significant contributions to the growth, development, and training in the area of interventional cardiology in India, serves as Executive Director of interventional cardiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi. He is one of the most adaptable interventional cardiologists in India, offering round-the-clock treatments such as prompt therapy of acute heart attack patients at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute by employing different thrombectomy devices. According to the severity of the blockages, he is a specialist in treating all forms of coronary artery blockages using a variety of procedures (Rotational atherectomy, Directional atherectomy, All Types of Drug Eluting Stents, Intravascular Ultrasound, Pressure Wire). He is also a specialist in employing endovascular stent grafts to treat abdominal aortic aneurysm and blockages in peripheral arteries (Carotids, subclavius, iliac, renal, and superficial femoral arteries).
